Jordi_Molas-Gallart

Jordi Molas-Gallart is Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Director of INGENIO (CSIC-UPV), a joint research centre of CSIC and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and Visiting Fellow at SPRU (University of Sussex) where he obtained his PhD and worked for some 15 years as a researcher and Senior Lecturer. His research interests focus on science and technology policy evaluation and impact assessment, and university-industry relations. He has led and contributed to many research projects for a wide variety of organisations, including the UK Medical Research Council (MRC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the French and British ministries of defence, INSERM, the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies of the European Commission, and the Russell Group of British universities among others. He is editor of Research Evaluation, a journal published by Oxford University Press and President of the European Network of Indicator Designers (ENID). He has been a member of many European Commission expert groups, and chaired the Science Europe working group on Research Policy and Programme Evaluation. He is national expert in the Horizon 2020 Programme Committee in its configuration “Europe in a Changing World – Inclusive, Innovative and Reflective Societies”.
